About the Charter

The Town of White Springs operates under a Council-Manager form of government, established and governed by the 2012 Town Charter. The Charter defines:

Town boundaries and incorporation status
Composition and election of the Town Council
Duties of the Mayor, Vice-Mayor, and Council Members
Appointment and powers of the Town Manager
Budget, finance, and audit requirements
Procedures for filling vacancies and removal from office
