Seat 4 of the Town Council of the Town of White Springs, Florida is vacant and will be filled pursuant to Section 2.03(c)(2) of the Town Charter. At the May 12, 2026, Town Council Meeting the Town Council will nominate qualified Town residents and by majority vote of the remaining Council members choose one of the nominees to serve the remainder of the term of the vacated seat, which is one year.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a duly registered voter in Hamilton County and must physically reside in the Town of White Springs for twelve (12) months immediately preceding nomination.
  • Any person who is currently deprived of his/her civil rights through conviction for committing a crime involving a felony or moral turpitude shall not be qualified to hold office.

Submit to Town Hall by Thursday, May 7, 2026 at noon.

Notices are posted at Town Hall and on this website. Meeting agendas are typically posted at least 72 hours before each meeting.
